By accessing and using MrGuessr ("the Service," "the Game," or "our Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MrGuessr ("we," "us," or "our").

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

MrGuessr is an interactive geography-based game where users place photos of famous people from around the world on a map to guess their countries of origin. The Service includes:

• Single-player and multiplayer game modes
• Various categories including beauty pageants, sports, politics, and more
• Achievement and ranking systems
• User accounts with Google OAuth authentication
• Premium subscription features
• Community features including favorites and galleries
• User-generated content submission system

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. By creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your account information
• Keep your account secure and not share access with others
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We use Google OAuth for authentication. Your use of Google's services is subject to Google's terms of service and privacy policy.

4. User Content and Conduct

Users may submit content including photos and model information. By submitting content, you agree that:

• You own or have necessary rights to the content you submit
• Your content does not violate any third-party rights
• You grant us a license to use, modify, and display your content in connection with the Service
• Your content is accurate and not misleading

You agree not to:

• Upload inappropriate, offensive, or copyrighted content without permission
• Attempt to cheat, hack, or exploit the game mechanics
• Create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Use automated tools or bots to interact with the Service
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MrGuessr and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Photos and images used in the game are either public domain, used under fair use for educational purposes, or used with appropriate licensing.

6. Donations

Users may make voluntary donations to support the Service. Donations are processed through Stripe and are non-refundable. Donations do not entitle you to any specific benefits or services beyond expressing support for the Service.

7. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your information.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify users by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where MrGuessr operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
